Muskoka Yoga Studio incorporates a large component of stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) classes in its repertoire. The classic lotus pose juxtaposed against the paddleboard conveys the duality of the two activities. The lotus flower background is adorned with the board as the upper petal.
The choice of mystical typeface supports the 'spellbound' name of this alpaca farm, while the three animals silhouetted at the top help to identify alpacas for the uninitiated.
The text sheltered by a classic timber frame gabled structure is a simple but powerful way to evoke the sense of relaxation and security that this real estate firm wants to communicate to its target audience. Strong, symmetric, and memorable, the symbolism contained in the imagery makes this identity a standout in the great wash of real estate brand imagery.

A local bird-carving artist commissioned us to re-brand his rural studio, and we created a custom illustration based on one of his actual carvings. We chose his downy woodpecker, native to the area, both because of its contours and its popularity among his clients. The flowing calligraphic type style suggests the creative hands-on artistry involved in his craft.
The development of this brand identifier posed a significant challenge in its preliminary conceptualization:the company's owners wanted their identity to embody the imagery of Canmore's Three Sisters mountain range. Under normal circumstances, this would not be a problem; but it seems that every second business in Canmore, Alberta (the company's home town), has the Three Sisters range in their logos. The three custom-created brush strokes have been carefully positioned to parallel the rise of each peak from the most popular vantage point. People in Canmore recognize the symbolism of the three strokes, while they are simultaneously reflective of efficiency, stability, and upward movement. A great brand identifier that has since been launched into hundreds of media applications and campaigns.
The Oxbridge brand came together over a 10 week period through with the concepts underwent a wide variety of permutations. In the end, the final ID concept of the stylized bridge was an add-on to one of the final phases but it ended up sticking and over taking what was shaping up to be final ID.
We chose a very simple font in a minimalist art-deco style for this Muskoka catering firm. Originated by the Irvine family of south Muskoka, the North name has achieved substantial recognition in the area through its restaurants, allowing it to be an effective vehicle for establishing its identity. The shape is reflective of the four points of the compass, while the deco styling lends a tone of traditional values.
